well done for going on all those rides. I did collosus and nemesis last time, also felt sick after the dark one. couldnt bring myself to do the one that goes high in the air and drops. Did detonator too, almost as bad as the parachute jump I did 2 weeks prior. We go to chessington now as we have the Libby. OHs 6 year old wont go on any rides (they are too fast) but Libby went on pirate boats, flying jumbos and bubble works. going to chessington this afternoon as we have annual passes. can only get in after 3 during august but if you are not paying you dont mind only being there 3 or 4 hours.

We will probably go at some point, it was probably about 5 years ago when I went there last!

I get discount so if anyone wants to join us sometime let me know.

I actually die when I go on these rides. I can cope with the teacup & saucer thing and Peter Pan flying gently over a model of London but that's about it. I think i had a nasty incident when I was substantially smaller and younger than I am now. I'm going to Blackpool in a couple of weeks - the kids are so looking forward to the Pleasure Beach!:smt115 I'll just have one of these cheap 'only here to look and not ride' tickets thus saving a few bob for drinking some of the local foaming ale stuff.

Re: Thorpe Park

nemesis was good but i sort of ruined it, i spent the whole time in the queue memorising where the camera was so i could do a stupid pose, i got the pose for the pic right but ruined the rest of the ride

Ive sent you PM Josh,

The cost would be £22 for an adult and £14.25 for a child under 11 years of age.

I get discounts for other things too like Alton Towers, Chessington, London Aquarium, Go Ape and West Midland Safari Park too, so those could be other options. Go Ape was fun, I went to the one in Bracknell which isnt far away from most of you, we took the dogs and a picnic, it was much more fun than I had anticipated!
