I don't really like it, my mate who has just sold his Z750 used tipex on the tyre walls of his BridgeStones and it looked alright to be honest.

This is one of those things which really makes me laugh, never would I see some tyres with the brand painted on the side and think "wow you are one cool mother ****er!" I'd be more inclined to laugh in their face with an out stretched arm and a pointed finger.

Treadmarkers don't just colour in the writing on the sidewall, they actually colour in the tread of the tyre. See the pic up there somewhere^^.

But wouldn't it affect grip at the edges were the tread is shallower?
