If you ever watched that 2DTV program that did the animations, you can just imagine him sitting throwing all his toys out of his pram at this!

Once a president I think they retain the title......the other day they were still refering to clinton as President Clinton (not ex).

I also think it is just a respect and decency thing. You would not meet the queen and just call her Lizzy. I imagine if you thought along those lines, with those attitudes you would never be in a position to meet her directly anyway, or any presidents.

I wouldnt call her "Lizzy! However, I don't think respect should automatically be given especially when I had absoultely nothing to do with putting him in a position of power in the first place.

I know what your saying. It the line you draw between becoming the person that walks behind David Cameron doing guns signs showing a complete lack od decency and common repect... or just ignoring the people you dislike and getting on with your life.

Nah, to me they'd just be another person on the street TBH. At the end of the day they are human the same as me and we both take a **** at the end of the day. I only address people as "Mr" (or Mrs etc) if I have a lot of respect for them.

Respect for Bush?... If he got hissy with me for not calling him "Mr President" I'd tell him where to go.....in the same way that I raise two fingers at Buckingham Palace every morning :D
