Re: Coverting a faired to a naked, worth the hassle?
Hey I bought a naked, converted to faired and now most probably would have to go back to naked, bloomin' back problems! It's not that a hassle, quite straight forward even. The bike was designed to fit the two purposes from the off.
As the guys said buy renthals which are way more comfier and purposeful than stock. Drill the top yoke if you're a bit skint or buy a naked top from ebay. You can keep the svs front subframe with mirrors, lights and instruments until you find the dosh to buy better. Actually my brothers' SVS looked wicked minus the plastics but as said. Like some angry alien insect or something! :) |
