I doubt there's a way to link a pair to do what you're saying unless you happen to speed past both of them...

Electronically it'd be easy but why bother. Unless you are on a dual carriageway camera will cover the entire road anyway.

Main reason for not bothering is that truvelos are normal wet film cameras, why waste film on the small number of motorcycles that might speed past when that same film could instead raise some extra income from another customer instead?

camera 2, 100 yards later, other side of the road, facing opposite way. I.e still set to get traffic from the front.

Could these be paired off to give a rear view of plate? Fictional somebody saw "camera 2" flash, but did not see camera 1 flash. (camera 1 would be the only way to get a view of plate).

Fictional Somebody would have difficulty seeing a Truvelo flash, as their flash is infra-red and not visible light.

Unless Somebody was mistaken and camera 2 was a normal Gatso type camera, rather than a Truvelo.

Orange flash if that makes any odds?

Nope clear visor.

Am I right in thinking truvelo is the only front-facing type?

The maths involved to get Truvelo's linked up would prohibit the project going ahead, combined with the legal aspects of proving "beyond reasonable doubt" that the vehicle pictured with numberplate was the one that triggered the speed trap.

Hands up those that have ridden the wrong way, over the speed limit through a speed camera for a laugh? No? No-one, thought not.

Linked Truvelo's, if they existed, time it right, and you could give anyone you wanted a ticket by triggering the trap after they've left that camera.

As for average speed cameras on the motorway, if they now do cover all 3 lanes, a number of postal items for me have never arrived. The latest of which would be one month ago it should of been sent.

So do average speed cameras only face forward? Are bikes immune?
