Nearly as good as someone I know, binning their bike at Anglesey on a track day, spending half an hour fixing it up to ride home only for it not to start when all repairs done. He thought it was wierd as he'd started it up straight after the off to make sure it was running and all was fine.

Stripped down to the tip switch to make sure that was OK and was generally pratting about for a while until he realised the marshals had flicked the kill switch as soon as they came over to the bike on the track and it was still off

lmao - brilliant - the funniest thing is you let him give you a lift home.

one of the bikes broke down on the welsh weekend last week - waitied 90 mins for the rac, bloke asked where the battery was (not a good sign) then reconnected something and it fired up.. we felt stupid !

Seriously one of those day, worst i've had in years tbh.

Least the sun was out, and some nice cars were being given a beating on track, so could have been in worse places tbh.

But still.... :smt037

Its something i'd know to check, esp as if your not moving its hard to get into Neutral, so i'd stopped. I'd usually do it straight away, just showing again my mind clearly wasn't on the ball.

Still, epic. I'd rather make a joke now of it rather than waste the 2nd AA blokes time (esp as he was a really nice guy and took such care of my bike and was a former biker who I persuaded to get back interested into biking (and advised him about becoming a marshall as he likes motorsport but didn't know how to get into it).

Now just the coil stick to sort out which is starting to break down.. £200 bill coming, ahhh the joys of Italian ownership. Meh, i expect bits to break. :)

D - phone in sick tomorrow, still getting your head round things, you can self certify, and if you feel too embarrassed to do that then get a sick note from your GP, can't face work, it's too stressful, you can gild the lily with the GP and they dish out the sicknotes like Smarties. (I saw one today from a client who has a problem employee, the doc's note was for 2 weeks and said 'low mood' - I'm not kidding. The bitch had been on holiday.)

And then go for your ride tomoz.

Sorted:D
