No worries YC, I won't be chucking them out.

I'll post them in the for sale section this week sometime.

Cheers for the offer but better to hang onto them for someone else who may need them more than I.

That said, don't chuck them out, they can sit in my garage in case anyone needs them if you want rid.

Chuck the back sprocket on then change the rest when you have more time then.

Whilst we're on the subject, I've just replaced my OEM C&S after 16,000 miles with new Tsubaki Alpha (or was it Omega?) chain and JT sprockets. Is it likely that the new chain will stretch after the 1st 50-100 miles? Obviously I'll be checking it each weekend, however with 500 miles in between each check should I check it sooner with it being new?

Normally I would say they need to be replaced together but to be fair YC you know what you are doing.

If it was me I'd let lazyness override tightness and do the whole lot all together seeing as you've already bought it, that way you won't have to touch it (apart from maintenance) for a fair while.

Are you running a Scottoiler ? , I fitted my Tsubaki C+S and didn`t need to adjust it , in fact I only adjusted it when I had to take the wheels in to get new Tyres fitted .

Well I couldn't risk not having anything to go down to wales on tomorrow (not taking that POS GPZ any further than I can possibly avoid). And I couldn't get hold of a sprocket in previous size I had on there (+3 teeth). So just bit the bullet and fitted the lot.

Lovely and smooth, but I keep trying to change down from 1st.

From luckypants house straight down a494-a487.

How long do you reckon it will take me to get from aber to the 11.15 rendezvous?

Ed would be your best bet for that question mate or Daryl even , I wouldn`t like to say as I only ever come from Aber and head north . You could try Multimap as that will give you a fair guesstimation of time then add time to that for any probs . I am probably gonna head to Lucky`s and travel from there .
