Asteer, might be worth checking your wiring or the switchgear - but unless it's a big pain in the **** I'd just take it back to the garage to do.
Unless anyone can think of any connections they might have just left unplugged

Well if the hazards and the indicator switch do nothing then it'll be the first live connection up-wind of the indicators, but after the patch in for the alarm. The earth connections should be common to the alarm's system for flashing so should be fine. I'd be pretty confident there's a plug someone's forgotten to reattach.

I'd probably take it back to the garage, it's their mistake, and they should be able to put it right fairly swiftly, otherwise you'll be out there with a multimeter and a wiring diagram or just pulling tank & plastics looking for the disconnected plug.

Don't take it back to the dealer - I can almost guarantee what the problem is.

I had the exact same problem about 2 months back. Take off the rider seat and pull out the fuse-box. Trace the wires from the indicator fuse down into the loom (you'll probably need to remove all the cable tidying stuff around it). There'll be a break somewhere down there - mine was about 4 inches into the black loom cover, and 30 seconds with a soldering iron and some electrical tape set me back to right.
