Brand new, £380 + VAT from a dealer :smt073 and i've inquired to 10+ spare parts sites ect and found nothing, this is costing me about £250

Well there is a thread on here where i got that link from where YC is offering advice on how easy it is to wire up. Have a search about for it cos thats a lot of monies for just a speedo and clock. i;d rather have no working speedo than spend that, lol.

get a trail tech vapor (sv650 specific one) with a yamaha raptor tach lead folow the instructions dial in ure total milage bish bash bosh jobs a gudden £120 then add £40 for the surround pannel for indicator (idiot panel) lights and what not

ps the clocks are the same as i have had the plastic bit off mine a fair few times as i have lowerd my clocks

I'm looking at that vapor thing now, as i currently have a broken radiator i need accurate temperature... i think I'll get one though after looking at a few more reviews

no not hard to instal

yeh make sure you get the raptor tatch cable or make sure the kit comes with one because if it dosent the tatch is all over the place but they will send you one for free if you dont recive one :) ohh and also does away with the speed senser in the wheel (well means that you dont need to use it)

EDIT u typed when i was :D so added bit to start

no idea as i dont have one lol but i would say not the instructions just tell you to unplug this plug this in do this (set up of tire size and bla bla) simples

i did the very same thing bar adding the other bits( part 5,6 etc)..mine was a standard pointy s, made into a fighter, so i just bought the naked clock yoke mount and fitted direct to that havnt need the back parts that are standard on a naked bike....

400047020701 this is an ebay us id number for trailtech. i,ve been reading this with interest as my clocks were spiked when my regulator packed up on my 99 sv. might go to this if mark at scorpio electronics cant fix original clocks
