Can't stand all the hype and commercialism - loved it as a kid and when my kids were little but now can't stand it - don't send cards, don't buy presents (except for the grandkids) don't have a tree, don't have a turkey......................BAH HUMBUG :mad:

I love Christmas, its one of my fave times of the year. There are some annoying bits which 'ruin' it such as commercialsim (i.e. starting christmas before october was over and done with). But all in all its great :D why?

I like how the 'mood' changes with the christmas tree's and fairy lights going up. I love how it brings colour to the boring high street.

I adore cooking so christmas is a really good excuse to make lots of yummy tasting things - mince pies, biscuits, christmas pudding..the lot!

I like how its an excuse to bring family together. I admit not all families get on and 'family time' isn't always the greatest thing. But its a time where people can (or should) just stop and spend some time with those that they love.

The whole present buying & christmas card thing? It doesnt have to cost a lot! I make my own christmas cards for Matt and my parents. The rest get a shop bought card from boots.

I could probably go on but I wont. Christmas is only as stressful as you make it methinks.
