70 miles in 90 minutes, can't see low rpm being the issue.

Bike fires up first time with the choke on, battery's reading between 13-14V at 5,000RPM. I'm quite surprised that six hours outside in London was enough to kill the battery after it had sat unused in the much colder Bedfordshire weather for two weeks without a problem. Lesson learnt - I'll take it out of the bike and put it inside when it gets this cold in the future.

Still, it forced me to go over the bike and make sure all the electric terminals were nice and clean! Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
