Darren! Damn you...you made me have a complex for at least 2 or 3 minutes (I was soooo sure I'd set it as a public poll, but you made me doubt myself). I'll tell you what, let's just blame Lucas instead (them funny colours mess with my head) :)

Chris - Try the 'Dark Past' colour scheme (little box shaped thing at the bottom of the page on the left). It is very much like the old scheme, but makes you think that polls have not been set to public :p

Oh...and I has a new name. I've got it to go with my new flat rear tyre  At least I have an excuse why I was using so much petrol, now all I need is the ability to link sluggish bike and high fuel usage together to identify a flat tyre.

I are stoopid, but even I don't get the public poll wrong ;)

OK, just did a quick check, and realised I am stupid

Had a flat rear tyre when I got home tonight, I think it might be a slow puncture, but it was too dark to look for the cause, so have just pumped it back up and will check it in the morning.

If it's gone down again, the bike will be off the road for a few days until I can get it repaired, so I may not make it to Soho.

Let this be a lesson for all - do not start a Soho thread stupidly early, or you may get a visit from the p*ncture fairy :-s

Hello, I'm new to this biking thing, and thought I might pop my head round the metaphorical door and say hi. I'll be on foot (well, both feet) and am a bit nervous as I'm pretty sure I won't know anyone.

In some dark, distant memory hole in my brainbox I recall nights where a small group of loons rode the A41 north, some wheelies were popped, many speed limits ignored and lots of frightened kittens ran for cover.

Who these hooligans were tho is too distant a memory to be able to clearly see their faces tho I do recall a naked curvey being very black and very clean.

Perhaps you can assist my recall if I buy you a coffee, no wait its the noobs that buy the coffee...especially if they come on foot ;)
