I personally like to make my toasties in a frying pan, can't beat em :-)

I feel so hungry now... Our canteen makes toasties the old fashioned way with a big double sided grill thing that squashes anything under it to about two milimetres thick, so I don't normally bother asking for one. Trouble is I REALLY want one now but they've closed for the day. I'll have to wait until I get home now!!
