I found it really sad, both the guy who's never had a relationship because no-one could see past his condition, and the guy whose life was turned upside down when he developed tourettes at the age of 34.

That said, I did laugh at his joke: "I can't play charades, cos I just stand up and shout "JAWS!" and that's my turn over".

yeah I remember in the last program he (they've followed the same guys for a while) the guy said something like if he couldn't get a job because of it he'd be screwed, he couldn't even turn to crime as as soon as he went to burgle someone he'd scream "I'm in your house!". :lol:

It was sad though, I would've hated to be at school with something like that or even just living with it in general you could see it made everything a challenge - the show's probably done them well though people will be more accepting. I find the fact you can develop it out of the blue pretty scary. That would have been really weird (and ****).

I do feel sorry for em but the program on the BBC they seemed to accept the condition almost rely on it as if they'd miss it were it gone.

If you watch the BBC one though its hilarious as 2 sufferers walk down the street, teenager goes "I'm a chicken", old bloke next to him "I'm a chicken ****er". :)

Yeah I laughed at ready steady cook, you could see the exact train of though - 'get stabby with knives' gave me an (albeit nervous) laughing fit.

He could probably get a job in my office the amount I swear. I am trying not to so much. Though there is one manager where I spend 10 minutes talking to him sweetly on the phone while my blood is boiling then put the phone down, bang my head on the desk shouting c**t t**t w****r repeatedly. But becasue everyone in the office hates him as well I get away with it - or they think I've got tourettes.
