Nah the standard shocks are crap when they're new.

You ever take a pillion or heavy kit?

Also what weight are you really? 193lbs is 14 stone and 83kg is 13 stone :)


If you are really on lower side of that SRAD 750 is nice, higher which the chassis really needs. If you are on higher side then 03-06 ZX6R shock is good, but too short.

BUT these are all adjustable shocks. You'll still need to tweak a bit to get them to work. If you want fit and forget, fit a hagon.

And they are more than capable of carrying dead weight on the back. In that I mean truck loads of luggage, everything and the kitchen sink;)

No, the 750-SRAD shock is like a 400lb/in spring where ideal would be like 650-700 region. It really can't carry the kitchen sink without bottoming out everywhere. Forget pillion use too.
