Re: Intercoms - Advice
Cheers guys.
Autocom is the most recommended "cabled" intercom. It's rated by the likes of RIDE Magazine as well as people that own them like Quiff & Luckypants. I was going to go for an Autocom, but have had a recommendation from a colleague of a Bluetooth unit. A recommendation from him plus some good reviews online (couple of sh*t reviews also) had me thinking about this intercom as an option. http://news.motorbiker.org/blogs.nsf...terbox-xbi.htm My initial reaction when he told me he paid £300 for rider & pillion kits was a big F**K THAT.....but I've found 2 websites that both had only 1 kit left so £50 for one and £90 for the other delivered. Guy at work is well impressed with the system, so if it's sh*t he's getting kicked in the nuts. Fred |

Re: Intercoms - Advice
I have autocom. It works.
Radio, buy something naughty or do your ham and be legal with a higher power radio. PMR is useless when you get strung out on a blast. |

The best. |
Re: Intercoms - Advice
Starcom get my vote and leads are much cheaper too auotmatically switches off when you unplug your headset, auto volume. Better audio quality than my friends top of the range Autocom. though I believe either of these two makes will be fine.

Re: Intercoms - Advice
I've just got a pair of Midlands of Guru and I need to get soem headsets, where's a good place to get the flat velcro style earpieces and velcro on mikes? (I know these work well with my helmet).
Also (I know google is my friend, but not sure where to start) the instruction manual I've found is for the US model, what frequencies are we allowed to run these at without interferring with anything? ta Ste |
