I've done a fair few of these over the last couple of years. Its a tw@ of a job and not one that should really be tried by your average diy-er.

1500 notes seems ok as an estimate, but I would have thought £1200 would be closer to the mark.

yes... that is actually exactly what it is...its a horrible awful job..

Cheers everyone. Looks like I'll have to save up a bit more before getting it done then :( And we haven't got the stove yet.
