Yes, I love all the Islay Whiskeys
2007 I was on Islay for 30 day on an exercise with the Engineers...
Great time, and great drinking was had by a few :0)

Just been given a bottle of Bushmills by the lovely Mrs BP for our 15th wedding anniversary.

superb!, the islay ones, especially the peaty/smoky ones are my favorite, i have in the cupboard a bottle of glen grant distilled in 1948, bottled by gordon & macphail, very special

I think Peg enjoyed his 17 yr old rum casked Bruichladdich, he just has a smidgeon left.

I doubt he'll find it again, unless he popped to Bakewell to 'The Wee Dram', but at 50 odd quid a bottle, I'm not surprised its taken him a while to polish it off!

not the cheapest hobby (thats what i tell my doctor), i normally wait for the asda roll backs, can get quite a few good ones for decent price's

certainly fliiping isn't. I'm up for trying them, but not a lover. Peg really is into his single malts. Found the place we go to, really does get some proper obscure rarities. The fella is brilliant. Just walk in and he starts lining up the samples!! Tiny shop tucked away in a quiet arcade corner.

lol, too true, cheers for the site, not heard of that one before, they got a 1950 bottle of the glen grant on there, if u can be ar$ ed, jus av a look at the price, mines slightly older than that, i got given it as a gift off a drunk landlord;)
