Typo. I was refering to the key which doesn't loOk genuine.
Sure would change all locks when buying a COMPLETE lock set.

Before I buy a new set I would bolt out the lock-cylinder and try to repair it.

Lock inner parts can't be more than bent and if the cylinder is damaged I can offer the pictured one for free.

As above id suggest trying to repair it first. The same thing happened to my sv. You need to undo 2 security torx on bottom side of yoke then barrel will come free, then undo 2 philips screws on top and remove cap and you can pull out the actual barrel insert thingy. It is actually more simple than it sounds or looks. I ended up rubbing down the brass inserts substantially hence now you could prob start my bike with a spoon. Sorry if youve already tried this just trying to help.

Thanks.

Do you, or anyone else know if I will need a drill with a torx bit attached to undo the security screws? Or would a screwdriver with a torx bit be sufficient?

You definately won't need a drill unless you want to drill something ;)

Drill won't do it and screwdriver with torx might do it if you're lucky.

But I needed a rachet & the torx bit in an adaptor on the ratchet to get enough leverage to start undoing it.

Suzuki use some really strong oranage threadlock when they assemble the yoke.
