Re: Blueflame can damaged.
Mine did the same, sent it back and they replaced it for new out of warranty.
They must have changed their customer service approach in these hard times, which is a shame as I was well impressed. |

Re: Blueflame can damaged.
It looked good but not mint as with mine my bro shot blasted the end first so its a slightly dull finish. The welds look good but slightly out of place on the cracks although youd have to be looking for it to see the repair. With regard to quality ive had no problem with the blueflame cans. Good sound and gains with removable baffle and they do look awsome.

When I had a SV I had the twin port titanium can on mine and the rivets started to come loose. They gave me the same story of no receipt no warranty so I took the can to the Excel motorbike show and in front of loads of potential customers presented the broken can. They took it off me pretty sharpish and although they woudn't replace the can for a new one, they did repair it free of charge. This was around 4 years ago though........ |
Re: Blueflame can damaged.
If you can't get it fixed by Blueflame under warranty, I'd recommend you send it to MTC or put the £80 you might have spend towards a new one with MTC.
I have nothing but praise for them as they have sorted out problems with my CCC exhaust and have always been very helpful giving advice etc...even to the extent that when I needed some s/s rivets for my CCC can, they gave me a handful of them and a drill bit to drill out the old ones! |
Re: Blueflame can damaged.
Blueflame have not been to Scottish show for a few years, so not much chance of presenting it to them.think the best bet is put the money to a new can!

Top lads they turned my dads micron into a stubby for me so the hard luggage will fit, charged me next to nothing :D I'm going back to them to get the renegades on the SV repacked and resleeved in carbon fibre  |
Re: Blueflame can damaged.
Blueflame performance engineering ltd is currently in liquidation - company number 04090714
Blueflame performance exhausts ltd is still operating - company number 07396708 I think they have started a new company, they buy materials from the same place we do. Any item on a bike will need maintainance occasionally, if you own a KTM with an aftermarket exhaust (even akropovic) you know they will need rebuilding about every 2000miles. Twins and big singles rip the crap out of cans due to how the engine develops its power |
