Re: Global Cat Experiment
I only know one cat and it hates me with a passion. Everytime I go near it it swings for me and hisses, I'll see if this song sways his opinion of me.
I hate that little ******* of a cat...not keen on cats full stop. More of a dog person, really want a dog. |

I was always under the same impression, didn't dislike cats, just always had dogs and was of the oppinion that dogs were better etc etc, same old argument. However the other half was the other way, always had cats and she loves them. We dont have time or space for a dog ATM so got a Cat, and i have to say my oppinion has changed completly, she is wicked, so much so that we got another kitten in june. as long as they get love and attention they will give it back, lets face it if you were treated like a c*** by your friends or family what wiould you do? you wouldn't keep seeing them, calling them up to go for a drink etc, you would fine someone that is a good friend etc etc. same as the cat, why would it come back to a house if the only attention it gets is some food. " not saying your friend treated his cat like this, i am using a general term as i am aware of pleanty people why say there cat is unloyal and i am well aware that they ignore it anf only give it food" but that said, i still cant wait to get a dog, i still think that a dog is a better family pet. |
Re: Global Cat Experiment
Dogs > Cats
/thread More intelligent, more sociable, better companions, more loyal, better house defenders etc etc In fact the only reason to have a cat I can see is that they're easier to fold for storage: http://www.infinitecat.com/cat-comic...fold-a-cat.jpg |
Re: Global Cat Experiment

Re: Global Cat Experiment
My cat is very loyal. No matter how late I get home he charges up to the window then miows on the window sill until the key goes in the lock then he belts round to the front door and once I'm in we have to have a full 5 minutes of heabutts, cuddles and tummy stroking before he calms down.
When Chris8886 flaked out on my living room floor after a BBQ the cat poked him a few times before bringing him a cat nip toy to see if he could get a response. I think he was worried Chris was dead. |

Re: Global Cat Experiment
My parents cat Harry responds to a whistle, when hes out. So does Mister Tibbs on occasions.
As for Dog v Cat...right now Mister Tibbs is being used as Bob the Dogs pillow. All three cats are loyal to me, but then they are also loyal to the neighbours when they leave the doors open and theres cat food just waiting to be stolen! |
