Sensible and well deserved thinking mans ride by Lorenzo. He bidded his time didnt take risks and deserved that win.

Ditto Dani Pedrosa, OK so a slow start, but was strong at the finish.

Rossi was to crazy that was a risky move. Showing his desperation or frustration maybe because the Ducati wont do what he wants ?

I thought Casey was very restrained in the garage when Rossi went to talk to him. Although his comment of "more ambition than talent" did make me chuckle.

I really enjoyed that race, and its the first time in a long while that I have done that.

+1 I agree.

Rossi was certainly a mover today. Still came 5th too.

I thought the move was fair play and dont belive it was an error to try it. He just got it wrong in the corner.

The fact that MotoGP fans still wanna talk Rossi shows that he has still got it.

He can be last and u will still pay to watch him.

Thing is if he had made it stick, we'd all be going on and on about what a genuis overtake it was. He didnt and now we are still talking about it. Like say people will pay to watch Rossi regardless of how he actually performs.

I still say it was risky. He came from along way back IMHO. It was almost a lunge, I guess he saw an opportunity so he went for it. Which is at the end of the day what we want to see on track.

Racing incident no more no less I think. But I do think that it shows a degree of desperation or frustration with the Ducati that he was prepared to risk a move like that on somebody as hard as Stoner his. i.e. somebody who isnt going to move over and let Rossi through like sometimes happened in the past.

it is hard for us to understand what you can and can't get away with on a moto gp bike, and although it was a good move it was perhaps a little ambitious for the conditions, especially as from what i have seen so far rossi's ducati seems to have a few handling issues. stoner has every right to be p***ed off as i'm sure if it had been the other way round rossi would of been fuming.

I think Rossi was in a hurry. He knew this is the best chance to make a go of it and he was on a charge. And good on him coz he is a racer who sniffed a win and went for it large style.

I bet he wishes it rains every track.

I'm just wondering: was there an incident in the past, like the today's one (Rossi taking Stoner out) or the previously mentioned Pedrosa vs Hayden where Rossi was hit by someone in similar fashion?

Toni Elias at Jerez hit Rossi in same manner. Can't remember the year.

Reason I ask is because I've often heard Rossi using the phrase "iz racig", but I didn't remember an incident like that.
Anyone remember what his comments were after the race? "Sh!t happens" or something else?
