Some of it has double white lines which can be a PITA with getting stuck behind doddering old dears but most of it is a larf |
Re: tight and twisty roads around brighouse

Re: tight and twisty roads around brighouse
Hmmmm Its sort of between Kirkheaton and Flockton,
Its the B6118 iirc, you get on it just by Marstons chicken, follow it over the roundabout and up the hill up to the blacksmiths arms at Moor Top. Continue straight on it along to the Hare and Hounds (good place to spin around and go again the other way), it gets pretty stright and flat out after that as it contiunes on to Grange Moor. Prob takes 10mins end to end if its a clear run but thats more because on the flat out bits it really is flat out, great visibility and only a few farm roads etc. Lots of adverse camber corners and even on the strights the camber switches from side to side in places, nasty little road in the wet tbh. |
Re: tight and twisty roads around brighouse

Re: tight and twisty roads around brighouse
Try from Littleborough up to white house pub and then down toward Ripponden. Don't go all way to village its boring. When you get to reservoir turn right over the bridge and follow it to Rishworth. This is very twisty till you get to where houses start again. Just cruise down to main road then and turn right. This will take you up to M62, those first bends are perfect knee downers. Then where you can either jump on till B/house or go over other side and rejoin scammonden route.

You practicing for the AR Andy? Go up Hebden towards Howarth, and take a right at Pecket Well, through to Midgley and Luddenden then over to Wainstalls. Tight and naggery, and if you can speed down it without falling into a heap down the valley belowI'd be a monkeys uncle! |
