Yeah, I have aesthetic issues with IL4s as cafe racers. It's obvious to anyone with a sense of proportion really, your average four pot bike is generally pretty wide, while your classic cafe racer is a slim little thing. If you get your proportions looking dodgy, it really doesn't matter how much time and money you fling at it. On a practical level they aren't that great to ride. Clip ons work on a faired sportsbike because the airflow is directed and offers some support,
on a naked cafe racer you just get buffeted about. They are just uncomfortable. Plus you sacrifice the leverage of wider bars around town, that's where trackers score.
