Re: Tie those bikes down
being without power for about 3 days was utter crap though, being off school wasnt so bad.
Anyway, local essex weather was supposed to be nice this week, but not according to ITV at 7pm, was going to use the bike another week if the sun was out. |

Flew home the next day and saw all the tree's blown down the previous night. Got home, I'd lost 1 ridge tile :) |
Re: Tie those bikes down
Very wet and windy here:rolleyes:
I slept through the 1987 storm. A tree fell on my mom's Austin Maestro, I hoped it would write it off, but it only had a few scratches. |
Well my bike got blown over last night lol.
No damage, it was resting just past upright on the right hand side (opposite side to stand) against my patio. Seeming as I have nowhere else to put it I think I'm going to peg it down, be Alreet |

Re: Tie those bikes down
After the winds a few years ago, a mate went up to check his roof and all was OK. However his neighbour was missing a few tiles. Being a nice chap he told the neighbour who said he would get a roofer in.
Mate got home from work next day to find a card from a roofer to say he had been to fix next doors missing tiles and noticed he had a few missing as well and to get in contact if he wanted them fixing. Confused as he knew he was OK he again went up the ladders to discover where next door neighbour's roofer had been able to get his replacement tiles from. Happy not. |
