I will be of absolutely no help to you whatsoever, but thanks for sharing that. A1 mental.

Keep posting up progress, looks fantastic fun.

Enjoy the ride then 8) what section should I post up my project thread?

Here is what I mean by offset seating - this is a bit more extreme due to an inline 4 engine used:

Planning to end up with something close to this, although the engine will be probably about half the width lol

Not sure, they don't have harnesses in karts, I guess the same question can be put to coming off at 150mph on a bike, except you have further to fall on a bike!

I guess it'd be like a mini-highside, so long as you don't get stuck in it. Looks scary though! Looking forward to seeing this vtwin project. It'll be quality. :)

There has already been one built - video is in one of my first posts, but thats the only video I have found of it, I do rather like the noise it makes! I like the scream of a 2 stroke, but that burble of a V twin sounds great, especially when its unsilenced

I think I might get the engine mounts from a wrecked frame, then I can attach that to the kart and bolt the engine into the OEM cradle - should also have a radiator mount then which sorts that issue out!
