Very true. The difference in cost is a fair bit of petrol!! Also my thou sounded awesome with the yoshis on. I was lucky as I got more for my 06 sz than I paid for my 07 gixxer;)

Re: SV1000 maybe?
Good God people! What is wrong with you Thou's?
Had mine since Jan 2010, she is a K4, been down the road once, fell off twice more. She now has K7 GSXR-750 forks, racing cans, new air filter, double bubble screen, is now black (was silver,) is as flickable as any "touring" twin should be. You wanna "flick" your bike, buy a screaming 600 or something! I have never had issues getting knee down on my bike or riding to Germany on it or getting 180 miles out of the tank from Hull to Strensham Services! I usually get the "low fuel" light on anywhere between 120 and 130 miles when regular “town, city and motorway” riding. Once got it down to 100 miles, but, that was “hard gas” for the whole tank. Other than that they are comfortable two up, can carry a fair bit a weight, wheelie quite easily (be careful not to starve the front cylinder of oil mind you,) are at home on long tours or race tracks and are a hoot to ride when you can open the throttle and just feel the torque drive you to hyper-space So, get one! And then join the SV1000 Portal too, like I did |
Re: SV1000 maybe?
Right, Sv1000 it is.
All I need to do now is get my contract switched to Edinburgh and then find a good value one to buy. If anyone here's of one for circa £2500, let me know.... |

I have done 18k on here since then and all I have needed to change has been the oil when it has gone too dark for my liking. You'd be able to get a good K5 or K6 for that I would think If you wanna look for one, like I said visit http://www.sv-portal.com/ and have a natter on there. I am the same on there as on here and there are a few for sale on there at the moment IIRC |
