Re: GPS on Android phone
N Drive on HTC Desire, works a lot better than maps app. All the maps are there so don't need a signal to get maps or work out routes.
Used on bike with earphone and works OK, no volume problems. Only problem is battery life. |
Re: GPS on Android phone
N Drive from the market?.

Sygic mobile maps. Traffic info, auto map update, 3d maps.
Tried co- pilot didn't like it. |
Re: GPS on Android phone
If you have a problem getting a GPS fix you could try this (taken from elsewhere) do this from somewhere with a WiFi connection:
I found this and tried it and all is good again. I use google maps to find a destination and then 'Navigate' from there. I also have Co-Pilot which isn't bad, I bought it a couple of years ago when I had my Hero |

Re: GPS on Android phone
Just use Navigation its good enough and free
Also get your phone rooted so you can remove all the crappy apps that usually come with it. Then get a custom ROM put on so you can get the latest firmware updates instead of waiting for carrier specific ones :-) The site below is great for info and apps etc http://forum.xda-developers.com/ |
