Did you lower the forks one side at a time or both together? Is it possible the forks have become twisted?

Both at the same time with the front wheel on the floor but the weight taken up by a ratchet strap around the top yoke to the roof support in the garage. I realeased one fork tube clamps and released the strap pressure until 15mm was protruding through the yoke tightened and then did the same with the other fork and set to 15mm. Could this method of caused them to be slightly twisted? If so is it just a case of releasing both sides at the same time check height same and then re tighten?

Thanks

Possibly sorted issue, re checked fork heights and found that the left fork was 0.5mm lower than the right. Re set height so both at 15mm and had a little try tonight while taking the missus out for a practice on the Sv and only managed to get to 50mph briefly but hands off bars and no shaking.

Oh and the missus loved her ride around a carpark on her new bike, not to happy when she had to get back on her Yamaha SR125 to ride back home.

Cheers

Kate my wife is now the owner of a pair of Ladystars...... not tried them on the bike yet but she's just happy enough wearing them around the house and being taller at the moment :) must say they are very good quality.

Daytona boots are the business - I had a pair of Roadstars that were waterproof for seven years, I've never owned any other waterproof item that has even come close. Daytona can repair and re-sole them if needed.

They are dear it's true, but they are so good that when my original pair finally wore out I didn't even consider buying any other brand of waterproof boots.

Any short chaps that would like a bit of a lift, but don't want their masculinity compromised by buying Ladystar boots, can buy Daytona M Star - same thing different name :)

Glad I could be of service :-D

As soon as my husband gets the curvy SV up and running I'll be back on an SV again!

Very good point - on another forum it didn't go down so well with a rather burly biker when I suggested he get a pair of ladystars.

Well they made a huge difference for her confidence, she passed her mod 1 last Friday riding the schools XJ6 which she felt was a little bit high when training but while doing her mod 1 and whilst wearing her new Ladystars she felt a lot better. :)
