Re: Bike Won't Start - HELP
Have to go now... better half's waiting :)
Good luck mate, but it looks like a blown fuse to me. |
Re: Bike Won't Start - HELP
Right, just checked those fuses, one of the 30A fuses was blown. Thanks a lot for your help :)
Just need to find some way of getting a 30A fuse.. haha |
Re: Bike Won't Start - HELP
It's under the rider's seat. There at first appear to be two fuses, but one is the spare, pull them both out and you'll see that one has two metal receptacles that the blades of the fuse engage with, and one is just a plastic holder.

Re: Pointy won't start - no electrics.
One fuse is in a dummy holder not connected to anything - it's a spare.
Whether replacing the fuse will fix the problem depends on why it blew, if the fault with the electrical system is still present then the replacement will pop too. Which is a good thing. Until you try you'll never know. |
Re: Pointy won't start - no electrics.
Put the spare fuse in and it works again - thanks all :)

Re: Pointy won't start - no electrics.
If it was all working fine before then hopefully it will of just blown because of the bare wire that touched the frame.

Re: Pointy won't start - no electrics.
Just make sure you replace the spare!
