I have a 55 watt HID for my dip beam now. Properly adjusted, it's superbly bright without any glare. The main beam is still incandescent due to speed of start up on the flash switch.

The adjusters are a right bugger though aren't they?

I've not even looked at them, but I'm very conscious the beam is too high when I'm taking a pillion, so I need to sort that out ASAP, especially if I use a higher watt bulb. I don't want to be one of those douches that dazzles everyone, especially bikers coming the other way. Will look today.
