Nothing.. Just found out that my front wheel left caliper is all oiled up, one of the lines is leaking, when I checked the fluid tank tiny window, it looked empty. I got so paranoid that it's all empty :D
Today I went halfords to buy brake fluid until new lines arrive, when I opened the brake fluid tank, it was nearly full.

Hope that answers your question

Yes. But it now opens it up for more...

If you thought that a line had leaked and all the brake fluid had escaped, but then found that the brake fluid reservoir is full, do you still think that the oiled up caliper is from the brake fluid?

Have you found a split in the brake hose?

Is the left fork seal leaking?

Also, check in case any of the oil got on the pads or rotor.

Thank you!
You are right, both of my shock absorbers are leaking, see pictures below. I will try to explain the pictures.

The right absorber has while-milk like liquid coming out, left one just oily liquid.
ONLY left caliper is all soaked in "liquid".

I think it has, Also I am getting strong smells from the bike almost all the time. Smells like break pads.
What do you mean by rotor?

Guys, Im located West London, near Heathrow airport. Anyone can recommend a good motorbike garage who could re-seal them for me? and should I buy the seals prior? How the fix works exactly.

Again, I appreciate the help.

Re: Front brake lines help!

The left caliper usually gets the fork oil on it when the seals go as the bike leans to the left. But that isn't a hard and fast rule, but a good clue that something is amiss.

The liquid is the fork oil. The white liquid is likely just to be where rain water has mixed with the fork oil.

By rotor that means the brake disk. Chances are the disk can just be cleaned off if there is any oil on there. If the oil has got onto the pads they will need replacing.

Squirrel you are a smart boy!! Good thinking.
Bibio will probably pile in and shoot me down, but before you go the expense of changing fork seals, etc. check out Seal Mate. It could be crud allowing the oil to escape. The seal may just need to be cleaned out... worth a try?

Me again... Seals have been fixed. Now I have sv650 braided lines by goodsomething. I posted them earlier. Are they suppose to be damn exact lenght? Couse to me it looks like I wouldn't even be able to route them in any way. Do they have to be 100% stright? Not a single bend? The mechanic said they are too short.. The seller says he never had problems with these for years. Help!

Re: Front brake lines help!

If the mechanic says they are too short, I'd go with that. They should be over length, so that when the suspension extends, there's enough slack in the lines so the hose doesn't pull out of the banjo's on the calipers. Which would have a detrimental effect on your ability to stop.

I had mine fail on too short lines, after a bar swap, even though I thought there was enough slack.

Youre absoluteley right. Do you know what exact lenghts I would need for front brake lines? Anyone? 2008 unfaired sv650
