I suppose the question ought to be: Where are you located 60-80? If you put it in your profile it might save us going off on a tangent (it doesn't take much for us to veer off into the weeds).

When I lived in CA, I saw bikes with modulators - they are certainly more visible, if somewhat annoying. I often wondered what happened at night till I read the regulations which says they must stop modulating at low light levels.
