Wigan me old mate! Gutted for you.Top bloke for getting back on and going for a good ride. Hope repairs are not too hefty on the wallet.

Ouch, that poor bike.

You are a hooligan Paul. I had a little slip myself at the filling station yesterday (rain/spilt fuel) but stayed upright

Glad you are OK and the damage is mainly cosmetic. I guess Ebay is going to get a hammering.

Sorry about your off.

Ouch. You really ought to go down the 'ozzie to have a check up, and besides if your chest hurts they can give you something stronger than paracetamol. Bad luck - but kudos for getting straight back on

BaggaZee 08-11-04 01:37 PM

Sorry to hear about the off.
Must advise you to get your ribs checked out though. I know they usually do nothing for ribs and that's why I didn't bother when I smacked my ribs a few years ago. I started getting a sore back about a year ago & my girlfriend told me that one side of my back had become overdeveloped. Went to the Docs, then physio and she told me that the muscle was compensatiing for an inwardly bent rib, or something like that (??). She ended up using her knee to drag the muscle off the bone and shift it around, three months of this wasn't fun but it's better than becoming a hunchback!
Worth a few hours in hospital to avoid, surely! :)
