the picture from the web site for the sv650 to TL frame is mild steel by the looks of it and should be possible to construct.

However, if you're talking about welding onto the standard SV frame, be aware it's alloy and not solid, it's a very skillful job getting that right, not something I would try, I think the TL lump is also taller so you would either have to do something radical with the airbox or have the engine lower in the frame reducing group clearance, eitherway looks like a big job.

By the time that you have changed the forks, suspension and brakes to cope with the conversion, spend the money paying off what you owe and buy itching to gos TLS :D
