Chewy! They the Business :)
That's why I'm trying to spare ones, so I'm not off the road while I polish them up (and now drill them as well  ) Any chance of buying some of your grommets or a pointer to where I can get them?

I am sorting out the grommet kits now. I just need to get the swing arm pivot point ones right for the 650 then i will be adding the kits to my web site. All the others i have sorted. I will have a new donar 05 650 to play with tomorrow.

After seeing Chewys heelplates I decided to polish mine over the weekend, I started off using a 600 grit wet and dry paper with plenty of water followed by 800, 1000, then finished off with a polishing kit, the results were a superb mirror finish, didnt have the confidence the drill them, might take them a machine shop to get them to do it.

Manxsv, do you know what material they are made out of? And one healplate, you need to remove the whole rearset, correct?
