any idea of the cost of the R6 throttle parts?
|
Not much, under a tenner I think. They're $7.12c or something in the US so over here that's about 19p at the moment :)
|
£7.42 for the R6 throttle tube.
|
Cheers
Just need to find a dealer now (for parts not drugs) |
If you find a decent online Yam parts dealer, would you let me know? Cheers.

£9.99 from local Suzuki dealer.
more than the £7.42 from the official Yamaha dealer but I'll save the £2.50 in petrol :) (They say it was more because they have to sell the grip with it) When I get round to doing it I'll take some pictures and right a little more comprehensive 'How-To' than Ron Larimers for all those who've got a level of mechanical know-how to me. (f**K all!) |

Dont rush to make the SV tube available mate as you have now planted the idea of the R6 tube in my head :D but thanks for lookin into it for me anyway. I phoned DK spares for an R6 one today and they said they wanted £25+vat of a broken bike :laughat: when i stop laughing i will ring my nearest dealer or get one from the same place as burner. Also, can anybody tell me if a naked 600 bandit has steel or alloy bars? and will an SV throttle tube fit the bandit? |
No worries, i should get it done while the bike's laid up anyway...

Whats the best way to remove a well glued heated grip from the left bar without destroying it? any sprays liquids etc.... or just pull like hell!
