There will be a rivet holding the baffle in (don't know if it's top or bottom on a twin output). Drill the rivet out with a 4mm bit then grab the baffle with molegrips and twist/pull to release. |

cool thanks guys i got the baffle out but left one in to get a 2 note kinda thing( i thought it sounds better) im gonna get in touch with ccc to sort out that kick :D
|
Hnnngg, I really want one of these, but by the time I add up all the options I want it comes out at about 300 quid. Now I've read about the bargains you guys have picked up that that sounds pretty pricey! Wonder what the next show is...

Re-jet?
Just fitted my ccc oval, running fine and loverly sound with the baffle in.
I see on reason (at mo) to remove, has anyone had to rejet or change anything to stop their bike running lean? Mine is fine but someone worried me by saying that the bike may run lean? |
lean can/ rich can
yeah mine runs a bit rich with my ccc, you can smell it and others i know run rich too. i dont know anyones that runs lean though im sure it wont be a problem with just a new can and i think the worst that could happen is it will pop and burble (which i see as a good thing  )

I thought mine ran lean with my CCC oval but I had it dyno'd and it is actually running rich! Lovely sound in Dartford/blackwall tunnels on the overrun with the baffle out

oh hell yeah. i like to go looking for tunnels around the area for the same reason. cant beat it. but yeh i havnt heard of anyones runnig lean yet which is a bit worse than it running rich (so im told)
