The R&Gs, and most other decent bungs, use a bolt that replaces the main engine bolt, so no drilling required :) Personally I've always been happy with the R&Gs but the new ones would look pretty odd on your bike, maybe the JHS ones or Bikesliders would make more sense

Have a look on the web site and you will see you need a different version if you are to fit with the lowers....unless you want to reshape your new lowers!

i am really please with my r & g's (Not Fully Tested tho, Hopefully never)
they were in MCN's top 5 crash bungs. i also have the swing arm bobbins they r really good and look lovely shame about the price.

and how come my bungs look different?? ill get a photo

I installed my R&G's yesterday , hopefully I won't need them either.

Anyone know the recommended torque settings for the fasteners?

The R&G's in the above photos are the new model.. i think they only came out in the past couple of weeks /months

as for torque settings.. all I know is, it says hand tight, and quarter of a turn to nip up..
