I think I must be the only single person on hear who hasnt had a problem with blue flame
I have a Titanium Evo trioval dual port jobby Heres my experience I looked on there website and found what I wanted, I phoned them up, the answered the phone after about 5 or 6 rings, I had a chat with the guy on the phone and explained what I wanted. I told him what I wanted, he asked me if I wanted a high or low level can, I ordered a low level one. He took my credit card details and said it would be with me within two days. He explained about the baffles and advised me that if I wished to take just the bottom bung out I would get a lovely ducati'ish sound, He also explained that there was no need for a carb re-jet and that my bike would run just fine. Can arrived within two days as promised. Issues : The instructions are sh*te photocopied sh*te but with some careful reading, marking measuring and cutting I was able to fit my pipe OK I had the bend the can hanger a bit to get it to fit as I wanted, It was a bit to far stuck out to the side of the bike, but after a bit of a bend and bash with the 10lb fine adjustment tool the hanger went to shape OK and after a bit fiddling with the allingment of the pipes etc, I achieved what I wanted. Its lost a Rivet out of the end, I put another rivet in and thats come out to, I think this is a vibration problem and I know its something that Dr Rich noticed to. Would I buy one again, Yes I would I have to say personally that I havent had a problem with them or their product at all. It sounds sweet and I also like the look of it to. Now I may be wrong but I think that alot of people who have had problems, have had issues with the high level link pipe not being right, and this is why maybe I havent had any grief with mine. All the best with your decision, one thing though they are expensive and I am sure you could get similar results for less pennies HTH |
Yoshis sound nice to my ears but they're not cheap. IMO the Blueflames are the nicest sounding and looking slipons for the SV, shame there's so many other issues with them. I'm still thinking of putting a twin port evo in natural ti on the end of my system, some day.
CCC make great cans if it has to be dual exit,I used to have one of their road legals (chambered, not baffled) for a while and it was lovely. Remus Revolution's a great sounding can too. I prefer good sounding over noisy myself, I think most of the really loud cans sound like rubbish :) |
IMO Blueflame twin-ports sound gorgeous

My Remus Revolution is Cool 8)

Blimey! What's happened to all the Renegade fans? I started mine up for the first time in 18 months the other day (see other posts) and it sounded fantastic! I was going to get them converted to road legal ones, what on earth was I thinking?
Renegade do a baffle to fit for the MOT....... :D |
