Of course, I care about as much as I care if we have a gay bishop. |
They all seem to wear dresses anyway so why not.

I think it's fairly simple, (which is good or it'd be beyond me entirely), the rules of the club - The Holy Bible - , preclude women and gays from becoming holders of club office, (as I understand it, not really kept up on my Bible studies), now I'm not a member of the club, but if that's what the rules say that's what they say, and it seems fairly black and white. What with The Bible being the word of God it can't be incorrect, so if you want to be a club officer, and you are either gay or female you'll have to start your own independant and slightly altered rules version of the Club. |

TBH i dont know why this subject is getting as much coverage as it is. We have a very prominant and real danger on our doorstep, surely we should be discussing that, not if a religion is having a tiffle inside its own organisation.

I voted yes. I'm a member of the Church of England. The happy clappy end, not the Anglo-Catholics. I dispute that it's irrelevant, nor is religion a social control mechanism. I see no reason not to have women bishops. We had a woman prime minsister, why not a woman bishop? Isn't it all about personal leadership qualities, why does the fact that she has boobs and no william make any difference at all????
