Was heading to get a bike one day, had the trailer on the back with all reflectors etc in situ. Some numpty wahcked it and claimed it was my fault!

Got out and he said I had no reflectors, to which I said thats because you smacked them you tw@. Things went downhill from there with me putting in a claim against him for a new trailer, reporting him to dibble for careless driving and I never heard anything about it again LOL

You have already given him some money? And you didn't get a reciept/signature?! :shock: I'm not sure what legal rights you have if you can't prove you gave him any money, I wouldn't want to be in that situation.
