I paid them £200 in May for my insurance - rang them a week or so ago to say I was changing the bike - they said I'd get £100 back - got a cheque today for ... £14.00 Robbing *******s..
I recommend everyone now to use Ebike insurance - half the price of CN.

have you phoned them? queried it? or just jumped on the anti-CN bandwagon as you have a gripe with them?

as Northwind says, its not how good they are at taking your money its how good they are when you need them. and everyone whos used them and had accidents has rated them.

My CN policy came through and they said I had to keep the bike in a brick built garage. Mine was wooden!

A quick call an all was well split it haf and half (£9 to me)

Thing is they didn't ask me about the garage.

Not me! Rubbish service when I actually had to get something from them (hire bike) and lots of fobbing off, hanging up on me (I wasn't even swearing when they did it...) and so on. More down to their "hire bike" dept. and in particular the scabby "Patrick" who runs it than CN as a whole group.

I have used CN for all of my bikes. I can get cheaper, but I know (through word of mouth) that when there is an accident they are excellent. It's a big company, if yoy are not satisfied, call customer services and tell them you have a complaint. Keep calm, and, if possible, record your conversation (I have used a speaker phone and a dictaphone before) so you KNOW exactly what was said.

I have had an issue with them once and they sorted it quickly and professionally. One of thier people made a mistake by not telling me something, it cost me money and they refunded it.

Cheap doesn't always mean "good value" - remember that....
