Whats happening in the fud`s household ??? We demand an update asap !

Sorry guy's been offline for a couple of days as it has been like a building site :(

We had an excellent team of lads (5 in total) in on Friday and we now have hot water and central heating but still no bathroom.

Loss adjuster from the insurance came out yesterday, didn't tell me anything that I didn't know. They wont't pay for any of the plumbing work ( just over 2K) or the tiler but they will pay for the dining room to be stripped, papered and painted and a new carpet. He did say that some of the ceiling will have to be taken down and re-plastered but until the decorators come we don't know how much of it need's to be taken down he did say they might even take all of it down :shock: They will also get someone in to clean our hall, stairs and landing carpet as it is filthy now with all the workmen up and down stairs. They will also replace the bathroom carpet but as we are having the floor tiled they said that they will give us some cash for that instead.

Dave's been out this afternoon and bought the bathroom and a new fire. So it's all go here :? but at least we are still smiling .... well sort off.
