Dunno about you lot but I fear that 1984 is already happening what with the <thought police> questioning an elderly couple for ages just because they objected to so called gay marriages and 14 coppers plus paddy wagon turning up to arrest a women outside downing street who was only reciting the names of our war dead in Iraq, some old bloke bundled out of the Labour party conference and then detained under the prevention of terrorism act cameras in most town centres that can practically follow your every movement and now cameras reading ALL vehicle numberplates with PRECISE locations etc.
Big Brother is watching and no amount of protest is gonna stop it as legislation is always couched in terms such as the prevention of terrorism act etc etc etc.
I'm half expecting an early morning knock on my door once I submit this
