I might try and get on it too that date if money allows, I was going to do it anyway as I picked up a leaflet from the bike show, but wanted to blag a first aid course out of work first so I wouldn't be totally green going onto the course! :)

Bootsock - I wouldn't be too worried about being 'green'. I haven't done any first aid since i was about 15. AFAIK the idea of the course is that it only teaches the basics necessary should you come across a downed biker, to help them until an ambulance arrives - it doesnt get caught up in applying bandages, plasters etc like a normal first aid course does. You'd be more than welcome to join me & simmo on the 24th.
