Not a clue what they mean. Can't you do 2D Dyno charts? or have I completely missed the point? |
Re: playing with ECU
It's not dyno chart, what it is is a 3d graph.
E.g you're at 5000rpm with 5/16 throttle opening, that's the two bottom axis, the height of the graph at that point is the value it will apply, like so many milliseconds squirt to the injectors, or x degrees of ignition advance. |
Re: playing with ECU
Thats all too technical for me!

Re: playing with ECU
the graphs are just a easy way to see the programed numbers in the fuel and ignition maps.
The first two are originals that come on the bike, the second two are the modified maps. Cheers Mark. |
Re: playing with ECU
What modifications have you made to the "breathing" on that engine?

Re: playing with ECU
So you've had to completely redo the map? As I presume standard pulse width would be far richer with bigger injectors.
p.s giz a go mister :-D |
Re: playing with ECU
Yeah pretty much, but the way tuneboy works you can trim the map, try it then save the trims directly onto the map and add more trims, so it's done in stages, makes life simpler.

Still look like mountains to me.
