next time you rebuild the can use lock wire to wrap around the fibreglass to hold it tight and feeding it in the sleeve will be far simpler

Yeah, next time I'm going to buy the repacking kit from M4. I'm sure it will come with all the rivets and everything I'll need. I was in a hurry... I don't know why but I was.
The cat is Peanut - or Peanutbutter Butt - because she looks tabby from behind. My friends named her and we got her because she couldn't afford to care for her. My bike isn't really all that bad. Untill you consider the price of everything I have to replace. Rotors (Used) $120 shipped Radiator (Used) $109 shipped (new would be $462) Waterpump housing (used) $48 shipped Handlebar (New) $62 Throtle tube / grip (new) $19 Front brake Lever (New) $12 Rear Brake Pedel (New) $62 !!! Rebuild kit for M4 $135 Front exhaust bracket (New) $10 ________________________$577 Plus I got a new helmet $184 Motorcycle lift $97 Total____________________$858 I'm just glad I don't have any fairings. I'll probably bondo and prep the scuff near the seat by myself and take it to a local auto detailer and have them spray it - I have some paint that's not perfect, but it's really close. |
