oil is oil, use the same oil & filter you normally would, chane it before the trip and when your done wether you ride 3000 miles or 6000 miles

no need to be fussy

Thanks for the advice. Been to H&G. They will do me oil and filter for £24. Now I know it is of a good standard I will change it before going and again when I get back.
