strange i know, but i guess peace of mind, my dad's always been one to go fully comp, so i don't think it'd sit well if i went TPFT

he even paid for upgraded fully comp insurance when i had my moped :lol:

How about phoning them (and several others) saying that you are calling several insurers and want their best price in writing. You are not going to call them back to give a second chance, you will accept the best price only. Should focus their minds. Although you got a good price, it is clear that they offered only enough to beat the competition

don't i know it, however my best price was actually their written renewal of £278 so its a sham anyway, did a few online quotes so i'm happy with the price.

would the companies even bother to write to you?
